Through a shared commitment to excellence, Benvenuto’s Italian Grill is dedicated to the uncompromising quality of our food, service and people, while taking exceptional care of our restaurant guests and staff. We will continuously strive to surpass our accomplishments and remain a leader in the hospitality industry.

Benvenuto’s is a family-owned Wisconsin business, dedicated to helping out our neighbors and communities. In addition to sourcing the majority of our supplies from other local Wisconsin businesses, we host “Dine Outs” to assist non-profit charitable organizations and support their cause. 

The first Benvenuto's Italian Grill opened in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin in 1996. Today, the Benvenuto’s brand has grown to four company restaurants and two franchise locations located across Wisconsin. We are a locally owned and operated restaurant group, ready to serve you.

Our History

In 1996, Brian and Khristy Dominick moved to Wisconsin to open Benvenuto’s Italian Grill in Beaver Dam with a great team of people. Tonya Clark, now the president/COO, started as a part time host when Benvenuto’s opened, and is still with the company today. Chad Webster, the current vice president and director of operations has also been with the company for many years, contributing to its success along with many other long-term employees.

The Benvenuto’s restaurant concept started off as a dinner only, Italian dining experience. The menu consisted of a handful of pasta dishes and a few wood-fired pizzas; all of which embodied a “family style” presentation, with food being served on giant platters for 3-4 people. Soon after, the doors opened for lunch and the menu changed to include individual dishes, expanded entrée options and grilled items such as steaks and fish.

Today, Benvenuto’s Italian Grill has grown to six locations across Wisconsin, with plans to open more in the near future. All locations are family-owned businesses and two are locally owned and operated franchises.  The Benvenuto’s concept offers something for everyone, focusing on quality, fresh ingredients.

Brian’s founding philosophy is to never settle and to always look for ways to improve upon our food and service on a daily basis. “We should always be looking for ways to heighten our guest’s experience.”

Our Specialties

The menu at Benvenuto’s Italian Grill offers a diverse selection of traditional Italian favorites, including our famous meatballs topped with homemade marinara, baked tetrazzini and scratch made alfredo, lasagna, parmigiana, calzones, bruschetta, our signature Italian salad, warm focaccia bread, and so much more.

Our featured menu rotates seasonally, changing four times per year, but our diners can always expect:

  • Made from scratch sauces and soups 
  • Hand-stretched, wood-fired pizzas 
  • Salads and sides using daily fresh cut produce 
  • Fresh (never frozen) beef for burgers, salmon and catch of the day
  • Daily fried fish (not just on Fridays) 
  • Whole wheat and gluten free pastas on request

We Buy Local

Benvenuto’s is a locally owned and operated business with a focus on incorporating quality, fresh ingredients from the local area. We make it a priority to source all natural and Wisconsin made products whenever possible and try to use all natural products with no additives and preservatives whenever we can. Our restaurant menus incorporate items from over twenty Wisconsin businesses – and of course, all of our cheese is from Wisconsin.

Family Dining

Benvenuto’s prides itself on catering to families – while maintaining a casually elegant feel in the restaurant. Each location welcomes children. Kids can draw on the tablecloth with crayons and enjoy selections from our special children’s menu. Benvenuto’s is a great option for families that want a special dining experience yet remain comfortable

Special Diets

Benvenuto’s strives to accommodate our guests with special diets, dietary restrictions and allergy concerns. Our menus offer gluten-free and low-gluten options, meatless dishes, low-carb menu items and more. Our extensive Gluten-Free menu includes pasta, pizza, sandwiches and entrées all is approved by the Gluten Intolerance Group® (GIG) and by a licensed Wisconsin dietitian as a service to our customers.

Groups and Parties

Benvenuto’s loves helping you plan your party or event for a large group. If you are seeking a location to host a special event, shower, rehearsal dinner or large party, Benvenuto's is just the place.  Each restaurant has unique space available that may suit your needs. Most locations have private dining areas or party rooms for large groups are parties. See the location pages or contact the restaurant nearest you for more information and details.

Group To Go Menus

Benvenuto’s welcomes to go orders for individuals and families, but we also offer options for large groups too! Special menus are available for groups of 10 or more, whether your event is in our restaurant or you take your order to go. We also offer a 10% rebate back in gift certificates for large-scale to go orders.

All large carry-out orders include plates, napkins, utensils, serving utensils and pans, condiments, dinner mints and a trash bag for clean up. All food items are packaged in disposable oven-safe containers for your convenience. Insulated carrying bags are also available by request if you are traveling to another area. Ask about discounts for schools, churches and non-profit groups.
